Aye Country Anne

Say "hi" Anne!
This is Anne. Pronounced with a soft "a" as in say "AAAHH!!" or "hana" (japanese: flower)

Anne was an old character of mine who I ended scrapping along with the story I wrote for her a few years ago from high school. Drew it recently though...got bored...

She's from a creative assignment where you had to use the sounds of the vowels A-E-I-O-U sometimes Y.

I wrote this when the cat's eye bracelets started to gain popularity in my school. (those things freak me out....)

So a short back ground:
Aye Country is a peaceful romantic town though, to most travelers its refered to Pirate Island. Since most, if not all the people there have only one eye and eye patches, primarily the women. The reason is for the Aye Country's High Witch.
At the age of 6, all girl's are left at the base of the mountain to climb up the stairs to the High Witch. Depending on the girl and her potential the witch would either take the girl's left or right eye. For most girls it is the left eye. In return, the witch bestowed on the girl the Cat's eye earring for eternal protection. The earring's power grows as the girl grows and its power makes a usual definate differentiation by the age of 13, though its power is fully developed whenever the girl has determined her own life.

Anne is a happy girl, quick on the latest fashion and quite happy. Unlike most of the girls who where a patch or some sort of decorative cover over her eye, she lives without one. She's unafraid to show off her empty socket 0_0 if nessessary, as the emptiness still frightens the people of Aye Country.

I scrapped her because she couldn't do anything, but play with children and flirt with men....-_- Though stay watching there was another person I replaced her with. I think her name was Io...I could be wrong...I have to find her story again in my 3 folders of scraps and stories...ahaha...
